What We Do

Our goal is to save you the administrative headaches, so you can concentrate on your students and ministry. Here's what we do when planning a custom mission trip and or choir tour:

  1. Evaluate your group through the application process looking at mission experience, spiritual gifts, cultural backgrounds, etc.

  2. Plan all aspects (initial contacts, confirmation process, necessary training, prep needs, etc.) of your ministry events and activities to fit your group’s experiences, gifts, and needs. Your schedule will then be paced accordingly

  3. Provide information for preparing and training your students for their specific ministry events and activities.

  4. Arrange housing and meal plans to fit your budget. Housing ranges from gym floors and dorm rooms to nice hotels. Meals range from self-preparation and low budget venues to upscale restaurants.

  5. Plan a pre-trip visit upon request if you would like to tour the city and ministry sites where you will be working.

  6. Plan your entertainment and free-time activities to fit your budget and schedule and expose you to the culture. This will allow you to minister with a greater understanding of the people. Mission trips are intense so we arrange this time to keep your students fresh and rested as possible.

  7. Provide basic directions for all ministry events, free-time activities, meals, sight-seeing, etc.

  8. Arrange for any other needs you might have (i.e. in-town transportation)

  9. Arrange for follow-up with new converts through local churches.

The passion and vision for this mission trip must be yours and your students. Student Matters will take care of the plans for your entire trip from the time you arrive in your destination city until you leave. YOUR TRIP, YOUR STUDENTS, YOUR WAY.
